The Purpose
If you’ve ever been to the dentist, you’ve already heard some of the standard recommendations. Brush twice a day, floss at least once per day, and avoid sugary foods and drinks. But there is so much more that can help prevent gum disease, cavities, and other dental problems that can't be taught in a standard dental appointment. As a person who grew up with positive experiences at the dentist, back then I did not realize how many things could affect our teeth and cause us to need treatment. What I know now is a large number of dental conditions are preventable with a bit of additional dental information. I created this website to share as many helpful tips as possible to help you keep the best long-term oral health, and enjoy the happiness that follows.
Helpful Dental Tips as a 501c3 non-profit also provides dental care to underserved people in need. Services are directed to essential needs (fillings, extractions, partial dentures) that directly improve quality of life and the ability to find employment. Please contact Dr. Canepa through the "Contact Us" tab if you are interested in donating or learning more about the program.
